| Personal Information Name: Umiko Creatio Nickname Umi | The Engineer Age: 168 Gender: Female Race: Sosarian Appearance Information Height: 5'3" Weight: 126lbs Hair color: Bright Blue Eye Color: Golden Looks Image: - Spoiler:
Looks Description: - Head:
Umiko is essentially a Sosarian for the most part. She primarily possesses Sosarian characteristics and attributes and even goes as far as to identify herself as a Sosarian. However, her grandfather on her mother's side was the True Sosarian Opes which has led to Umiko being born with rather interestingly colored hair, skin and eyes. It is not all too normal for a Sosarian to possess neither bright blue hair nor golden eyes, however, Umiko possesses both. Her hair is blue, though very bright in color due to her lineage derived from the True Sosarian Opes, while her eyes are a pure mixture of brown and golden, to produce a slightly offset glowing golden hue.
Umiko's hair has a unique texture to it because of her unique lineage, causing it to feel a bit slick and smooth to the touch; much more so than the hair of most other humans. Many strands of her hair tend to stand up and bend at the top of her hair, making it look rather rough when one first sees it. Her bangs extend down to just above the top of her eyes as to not obstruct her vision, while towards the back it extends all the way down to the upper portion of her thighs, right below her butt. Her hair is rather long and unkempt, making it look like she hardly takes care of it, even if she does try to from time to time.
Near the top of her hair, Umiko wears a hair-clip that keeps her hair from getting in her face and obstructing her view. The clip is striped with two colors; white and yellow. Umiko's face is very full and well-rounded, as she is a very well-nourished individual. She eats and sleeps regularly, leaving her complexion very natural and beautiful in appearance. Her facial structure is best described as 'rounded' as her cheeks poke out a tad bit. Her lips are full yet mature in appearance, while her nose remains rather small.
On both of her ears, she wears the Earpieces of Wealth, which are two devices that can be attached to one's ears to serve a variety of purposes. The pieces themselves are constructed of valorite and thus have a slight silver-blue hue to them, with a circular portion in the center that radiates blue due to the flow of mana through the device. For the most part, the device appears to cover the entirety of her ear, the only thing really visible of the device being the metal lining with multiple circular pieces radiating blue with mana.
Her hair is often tied into two pony tails that extend down all the way to her knees in length. Near the ends of each pony tail are a device that works to maintain the hair as well as serve other purposes. These devices are known as the Hairpieces of Wealth and can be used for a variety of defensive purposes against mana-based techniques and attacks. They are, for the most part, a dark black material with a circular piece in the center that radiates blue with the color of mana, due to the mana that it possesses.
- Upper Body:
Umiko's choice in attire is certainly something that is unique to her. She stands out in a crowd particularly because of the coloring of her clothing but also the style in which she wears it. Around her neck is a piece of clothing similar to a shirt color, though it is not attached to any other piece of clothing. It is white with three blue bands wrapping around the center of it. On the tips of each collar are pieces made up of a light golden golite material. This neck piece fits perfectly to her neck, not being too tight or too loose, and is tied in place on the back of her neck.
The top that she wears to cover a portion of her upper body is nothing other than a black tube top with multiple silver rings dangling along the bottom. The majority of her cleavage can be seen above the tube top while her midriff is completely exposed below it. Essentially, the tube top only serves to cover up what is absolutely necessary, while leaving very little to the imagination for the rest of her upper body. Not unlike other aspects of her body, her breasts are rather large and rounded, making her give off a sensual appeal. Despite their relatively large size, they are very perky and sit well within her tube top without the need for a bra underneath.
Over her tube top she wears a skin-tight suit that covers the majority of her upper body. A collar covers up roughly half of her neck while a small portion exposes the top cleavage of her breasts. The sleeves extend all the way to wrap around her hands, acting as gloves as well. Her abdomen is entirely covered up while her thighs are exposed, as the suit stops at the top of her thighs, covering her crotch and other parts of her body that are above the top of her thighs. This suit is, for the most part, comprised of a highly durable material that can take high amounts of damage. It is mostly black with small blue and silver designs here and there.
- Lower Body:
Her legs, from the middle of her thighs down, are obviously mechanical and, like the rest of her body, are made up of shadow irite, making her exterior highly durable. Her legs, however, actually look like shadow irite unlike the rest of her body. They are much darker in color, almost black, with a few lines of silver and blue here and there. Covering her feet are the Footwear of Wealth, matching the color of her legs. They are quite a bit larger than her actual feet and can serve a variety of purposes.
Personality Information Personality Description: - Personality:
Umiko's logic and mindset are pretty money-oriented. She is not the type of person to simply do something for another person out of the kindness of her heart or for the sake of generosity, nor does she except others to do her any favors. She is always willing to pay those around her for help or services, even if they are close friends. However, she is also unwilling to do much of anything for someone else without being paid up front first. Most people would disregard her as greedy but it mostly has to do with the fact that she believes a person's worth is determined by their wealth. Either you have money or you don't. Umiko feels that if she is able to amass a large fortune, she will be worth more to the world than if she was poor.
Umiko has lived for well over a century and a half, resulting in her being much wiser and knowledgeable than most others in the world of Sosaria. This is primarily due to the fact that she is of Sosarian descent, causing her to live much longer than other races. She has lived through many of the world's most important historical events and occurrences and almost even fought in the Great Sosarian war. Umiko always has advise to give and will offer her counsel for the right price. She has often been paid for by major world leaders for her vast knowledge and intellect regarding the world.
Umiko is unwilling to engage in combat and would much rather run away than try her chances against a stronger opponent. After all, she is a crafter above all else. She is completely unfit for fighting. She will often leave the fighting to her androids or her bodyguards while she flees to safety. She does not feel any guilt in doing this, however, as she feels that once someone accepts their fate is their own fault for how things end up. Simply provided monetary incentive does not make her any more guilty than someone who has not. For that reason, she is more than willing to hire large groups of mercenaries to fight on her behalf without worrying one bit over their own well being or safety.
Although she seems uncaring and does not particularly show kindness towards most people, she acts very sweet and care-free around her customers. She favors her customers over everyone else in the world, considering them her most valuable friends. For this reason, she often offers discounts and extras to her regulars, hoping to maintain them as customers. She is always willing to hang out and do things with her customers even, not wanting to stop at just a professional relationship. She is always looking to get her name out there as one of the greatest artisans in Sosaria and she feels that having a personal connection with her customers is important for that. Likes:

Catch Phrases: "All things begin with creation..." "I'll build ya whatever you want!" "Sure. For the right price..." "Isn't money just wonderful?" Philosophy: Umiko is somewhat nice and polite but she believes that money and wealth are the most important determining factors of a person's worth. If someone is worthless, they will have no wealth. If someone has necessary skills and is worth something then they are bound to be wealthy. This is simply how she views things and spends most of her time trying to make a quick buck to add to her wealth. Alignment Information Nation: Kingdom of Pratia Village: Folium Job/Trade: Engineer Rank: Master Alignment: Lawful Neutral; Umiko walks a thin line as far as the law is concerned. She will not step out of the confines of the law and will rarely engage in acts that could get her into trouble with the law. She is generally a good-natured person but will rarely do things simply out of the kindness of her heart. She is more likely to help someone if there's pay or if it benefits her in some way. Name: Master of the Elements Class: Origin Type: Activated Description: Umiko is able to make use of her mastery over all basic elements in order to craft weapons and items in a much more effective manner. Crafting items and parts takes Umiko significantly less time, cutting down the word count requirement by 20%.
Name: Child of Truth; Opes Class: Origin Type: Passive Description: Umiko, being a descendant of Opes, has mastered the use and creation of superior technology. With that said, she is able to produce guns, androids and numerous other high-tech devices and weaponry. She is also quite wealthy (starts with 50,000 Gold in addition to her current starting Gold.) and is of the Sosarian race. Once sprinting, however, Umiko is no longer able to attack anything or anyone for the remainder of the topic and is only able to run away or dodge.
Weaknesses: - Techniques: None. Inventory: - Earpieces of Wealth:
Name: Earpieces of Wealth [2] Type: Earpieces | They are devices that cover the ears of the user. Class: 2 Appearance: Materials: The earpieces are almost entirely made up of valorite, except for the circular pieces in the center that are made up of a mana-reactive material that is highly fragile. The center pieces are easy to break or shatter, though the valorite portion is extremely durable. Abilities: The earpieces are highly advanced as far as technology is concerned. They completely seal off the user's ability to hear while simultaneously filtering the surrounding noise and sounds around the user before feeding the sound to the user's ears. All of this is done in realtime, resulting in no delay between what is heard and what the user hears. The earpieces can be tuned to hear things up to five hundred meters away, though the user faces no risk in doing so because the earpiece will automatically tone down high pitched noises and sounds to reduce the risk of the user damaging their hearing. The earpieces can be used to hear even an invisible force simply by the smallest of sounds that it creates, allowing the user to determine how far away something is, along with its approximate location by sound. These pieces have their own source of mana, thus leaving no toll on the user. Origin: The Earpieces of Wealth were developed by the True Sosarian Opes during the Great Sosarian War. He gave them to one of his Sosarian soldiers, who later came to bear his child, Umiko. The earpieces were passed down to Umiko and she has kept them in her possession ever since. Requirements: N/A Availability: There is only one of this item in the entire world of Sosaria. Total Cost: 800 Gold
- Hairpieces of Wealth:
Name: Hairpieces of Wealth [2] Type: Hairpieces | These items can be attached at the ends of the ponytails of the user to be used. They can be attached to other things or even simply held, however. Class: 1 Appearance: Materials: For the most part, these pieces are comprised entirely of valorite, except for the circular pieces in the center which are made up of a rather fragile mana-conductive material that can be easily shattered or destroyed. Abilities: The hair pieces of wealth are used for defensive purposes, mainly. While attached to elongated objects or parts of the body, they will swing on their own at the user's discretion to produce a shield of mana around the user at 180 degrees. The user must recognize the threat in order for the pieces to react, however. Once the user becomes aware of a threat, the hair pieces will pick up on the fear in the user and swing in the direction of the threat to form a barrier of mana. This barrier of mana not only serves to block techniques and other attacks but also absorbs the mana from attacks, sealing the mana away into the hair pieces for later use. These hairpieces possess more than enough mana to produce ten shields, but require 200 mana for each subsequent shield after those ten shields are exhausted. This can be obtained by the user channeling mana to be stored or through absorbing the mana used to make the techniques that the hair pieces absorb. They defend against techniques class 1 or lower. However, for class 1 techniques they are only able to absorb most of the mana comprising the technique resulting in the shield being penetrated. However, with most of the mana absorbed a class 1 technique would act as a class 3 technique once it actually reaches the user, dealing significantly less damage. Origin: The Hairpieces of Wealth were developed by the True Sosarian Opes during the Great Sosarian War. He gave them to one of his Sosarian soldiers, who later came to bear his child, Umiko. The hairpieces were passed down to Umiko and she has kept them in her possession ever since. Requirements: N/A Availability: There is only one of this item in the entire world of Sosaria. Total Cost: 1200 Gold
- Footwear of Wealth:
Name: Footwear of Wealth Armor Set: Armor of Wealth Set Type: Moderate Armor Sub-Type: Footwear Specialties: N/A Appearance: Class: 1 Special Abilities: The Footwear of Wealth are high tech footwear developed by the True Sosarian Opes. Not only do they offer extreme protection for the feet of the user but they also have rockets on the bottom that can be used for limited flight or high speed movement. They can allow the user to 'jump' up to twenty meters into the air, while slowing their decent to ensure that they do not hurt themselves. They can also be used to maneuver in mid-air, to a minor degree, so that they are not hit by an attack while in the air. When used to increase movement, the user is granted a boost to their running speed of 200 stat points, negating the 1% speed drawback of wearing moderate armor. Stat Adjustments: When not in Use: The user's speed is decreased by 1%. When in Use: The user's speed is increased by 200 points. Materials Used: The footwear are entirely comprised of valorite and thus extremely durable and protective. Requirements: - 100 Strength [Stat] - 200 Speed [Stat] Origin: The Footwear of Wealth were developed by the True Sosarian Opes during the Great Sosarian War. He gave them to one of his Sosarian soldiers, who later came to bear his child, Umiko. The foot pieces were passed down to Umiko and she has kept them in her possession ever since. Availability: There is only one of this item in the entire world of Sosaria. Total Cost: 1200 Gold
Past Information History: - The Creation of a Sosarian:
With the Great Sosarian War wreaking havoc and destruction across the lands, the Sosarian race was dwindling as a result. There were beginning to be less and less Sosarians across Sosaria and with the war progressing at a rapid rate, this would only continue as time went by. The True Sosarian Opes, the Sosarian of Wealth, predicted that one the Great Sosarians would cease to walk Sosaria and preemptively set in motion the creation of a new Sosarian child. The first Sosarian child in several centuries. This Sosarian child would be kept secret and hid from the rest of Sosaria until she could protect and defend herself.
Opes spent decades deciding who would be the mother of his child. The Sosarian female who would be the first to bear a Sosarian child. After he had decided on the Sosarian known as Kiyoko for ther mother, he hid her where no one would ever find her. In a secret cave in Aquar. There he left a vast portion of his wealth and the secrets to his advanced technology, which remains to this day centuries ahead of its time. On that day, Opes created a new Sosarian, a natural android, in the womb of Kiyoko and left to rejoin the Great Sosarian War once more, never to return again. Opes knew that he had to rejoin the war as if nothing had happened. He could allow no one, not even his fellow True Sosarians, to know of his offspring's existence.
"Help... me!" Kiyoko would scream as her pleas for help from the medics would resound throughout the cave. Three other Sosarians were present at the time, all three being advanced medics under the reign of Opes. "Push!" the lead medic would command her, while one of his assistants used magic to dull the pain of the birthing process. It did not help much, however, as despite being a Sosarian, child birth was still an intensely painful event for even Kiyoko. Nearly an hour went by before finally Kiyoko gave birth to the offspring of Opes, a darkly toned valorite android. This android was completely silent, looking up at the medics with an inquisitive stare as Kiyoko gasped for air, closing her eyes. "Umiko..." she whispered, slowly drifting unconscious.
One of the medics rushed to her side, examining her body only to find that she had passed. The last bit of mana that she possessed had been used to give life to Umiko, whom the medics had decided to name such because of the last word of Kiyoko. "What should we do?" the medic's assistant asked, looking over at Umiko questioningly. "It'll mean the death of us if we just leave her here. I'll take her under my care." the lead medic stated calmly before walking out of the cave. "Forget what you saw here, men. Nothing happened in this cave." he would speak plainly but they all understood why they had to forget what had happened. None of them could ever spill the details of the birth of a Sosarian.
It took a mere few weeks for Umiko to grow and develop into the size of an older human teenager. However, at that point she ceased to grow any further, lacking the mana and proper creation process that other Sosarians went through in order to grow larger. She was merely five feet and four inches in height, something that was pitiful compared to other Sosarians. However, most of her body had developed a peach skin tone while her eyes remained golden and her hair turned bright blue. The medic who had taken her in realized she would fit in best in the kingdom of Ignia, thus he traveled to the kingdom and left her there to fend for herself. He knew she would be fine, being a Sosarian and a descendant of Opes. He simply hoped that she would not cause too much of an uproar.
- Great Sosarian War:
Throughout the Great Sosarian War, Umiko worked desperately to supply the Kingdom of Ignia with the appropriate offerings for the True Sosarians so that the kingdom would be left alone throughout the war. She was highly successful in doing so, resulting in the kingdom coming out of the war entirely unscathed. This took a large portion of her vast wealth and also forced her to rely on her technological knowledge in order to appease the True Sosarians, however, and ended up left with a meager fraction of the wealth she started out with. Despite this, she quickly grew fond of the Kingdom of Ignia and did everything in her power to ensure that they were not touched by neither the Truth nor the Fallen.
"Oi, you! What the Hell are you?!" the scruffy mugger would shout at Umiko as his dull copite blade ricocheted off her valorite exterior. With a mere extension of the palm of her hand she was able to deflect a blow from the mugger, her eyes unwavering and fearless in the face of what would have been imminent danger to anyone else. rather than faulter, she beat the mugger mercilessly with her closed valorite fists. Despite being nothing more than a blacksmith and tinkerer, she was more than able to handle the mugger with relative ease. He laid sprawled out on the ground, coughing up little droplets of blood. "Stop... I've had... I've had enough!" he pleaded to the Sosarian for mercy and she granted him such.
"Don't let me catch you tarnishing the good reputation of this kingdom further or I won't be as kind." she muttered, slowly walking away from the scene with calm, peaceful strides. Umiko made her way as far away from the situation as she possibly could, not wanting to go through any interrogations or the sort. She was trying to lay low, after all, and there was no point in laying low if one got caught up in a street brawl. She could not let the kingdom guards grow suspicious of what she was. Or who she was, for that matter. If the king of Ignia realized what she was capable of, there was little doubt in her mind that she would be used.
"So... You're the descendant... of Opes?" the King of Ignia would question Umiko, his right eyebrow raised with curiosity. Two guards stood on either side of Umiko, their blades raised to the front of her throat, pressed indiscriminately against her valorite exterior. Although she herself was composed of valorite, it was not as if the blades would do nothing to her. Not only were their made up of true valorite, which could easily piece her alone, but the guards could easily channel mana into the blades and slice clean through her exterior. This would prove quite dangerous for the Sosarian.
"Indeed. I am Umiko." she spoke, her eyes honing in on the king, analyzing every aspect of his presence. "Umiko Creatio." she reiterated, adding in her last name. The king gave a disgruntled look, his brow furrowing as he frowned. "If I recall correctly, Sosarians have but one, singular name." he shot at her verbally, coming to a stand immediately. Umiko closed her eyes before reopening them once more, looking up at the king with endearment and respect. "I have taken on the last name Creatio in order to fit in with the human race. For that is my one wish." she spoke clearly and politely, her voice gentle and kind in nature. After all, all she ever wanted was to fit in with the rest of humanity and be one with them.
The king sighed, falling back into a sitting position on his throne. "I was under the impression that Sosarians could not reproduce..." he muttered, knowing that she would have something to say to that as well. "The power of Opes is what fueled my creation. I am not merely an offspring. I am a creation." she whispered in response, her golden eyes shimmering with the Sosarian magic that brewed within her body. "I was created by Opes... Because he believes the True Sosarians will one day cease to exist. As will all Sosarians, for that matter." she told the king, her eyes earnest in her attempt to sway the king to belief rather than doubt.
The king immediately leaped to his feet, a scowl etched into his face like stone. "You blasphemous imposter! The gods can not cease to exist! They are immortal!" he retorted with contempt, his face displaying the rawest form of anger and denial. "Take this wench to the dungeon! Torture her until she tells us what she really is!" the king commanded his guards before sitting down once more on his throne. He lowered his eyes to the eyes of Umiko, which showed nothing less than humility and fear. "But... sire!" she shouted, only for the king to raise his hand for silence. "If you do not cease with your trickery, I will have you executed immediately." he spat, his anger subsiding but his denial ever present.
Umiko lowered her head in defeat as she was dragged away from the king, her body going limp as the guards pulled her body out of the throne room towards the dungeon. "Just you wait, filthy heretic... You're going to regret speaking against the gods." the guard to her right muttered, while the guard to her left remained silent. They dragged her limp body all the way to the dungeon where they hung her by her arms with valorite chains, restricting her movement as they chained her legs as well. She laid sprawled out on the wall, completely without the ability to move as the guards left he room, slamming the heavy irite door shut behind them, remembering to lock it.
- The End of the True Sosarians:
"I'll ask you again, mongrel. What are you?" the lead interrogator would ask the Sosarian, his eyes scanning the scantily clad, beaten body of Umiko. Her clothing, for the most part, had been torn to bits and pieces that barely served to cover her. There were several dents and scars in her exterior, as well. "I'm so glad you're not human. It makes my job of torturing you without killing you... much easier. It's also nice that you feel pain. After all, this would all be rather pointless if you couldn't." he laughed at the end of his statement, walking away from Umiko a few steps before turning around and lashing out at her with a flexible valorite whip.
Umiko would cry out as the whip came into contact with her exterior, causing immense pain from the impact. "I... I am the daughter of Opes!" she screamed, her golden eyes dull from the intense and repetitious pain that she had endured for nearly a decade now. She gasped, flinching with what little movement she was capable of as the door slammed open, the king walking into the dungeon for what seemed like the first time he had ever done so. His jaw dropped and his eyes opened wide and his caught sight of what laid before him. "Release her at once!" he commanded the man who had just lashed at her. "Y-y-yes, your excellency..." he whispered as he immediately worked for several minutes to get the shackles off of her. The shackles had grown rather tight and rusted over time.
Umiko dropped down from the wall onto her hands and knees, her golden eyes shimmering once more as they opened wide. "What... What is going on...?" she whispered, raising her head to look at the king with a distraught look that showed her inability to understand the situation. The king slowly walked towards Umiko, his eyes now gleaming with compassion and earnest sorrow at what he had done. "Umiko. Daughter of Opes. One of the last remaining Sosarians." he whispered, dropping down onto one knee and placing his hand gently on the top of her head. "Forgive me for my transgressions... I... I had no idea..." he whispered, pleading for the Sosarians forgiveness.
"What's... Going on?" Umiko would ask, ignoring the king's words as she stared off past his eyes, as if she were looking at the air behind his head rather than into his eyes. "The True Sosarians were defeated... The Fallen Sosarians disappeared. Most of the Sosarians have been wiped out. Few remain." he went on, his eyes looking down towards the ground as he furrowed his brow, licking his dried lips. "I... The kingdom of Ignia needs you, Umiko. We need you to stand in place of the True Sosarians." he whispered, his eyes moving back to gaze into the eyes of the Sosarian. "Will you be our goddess?" he asked, to which Umiko stared and shook her head slowly. "I want to leave..." she muttered, rising to her feet. The Sosarian wobbled from side to side as she struggled to remember how to walk, her legs shaking.
"Very well... I will provide you with a ship and sufficient resources to make it to any kingdom in Sosaria. You may depart at your discretion." he told her, returning to his feet as well. He snapped his fingers as two guards slowly entered the room. Umiko flinched and backed up against the wall. "Do not fear, Sosarian. They are only here to guide you to the ship. They will not harm you." he spoke, before turning around and making his way to the exit of the dungeon room. "Akele, give her the clothing I told you to bring." he spoke, before leaving the room. Akele, the guard who the king had spoken to, retrieved some attire from a bag on his side, handing it to Umiko. She immediately changed into the clothing, seeing no need to leave the room as she lacked the same outward organs as humans.
After Umiko had finished changing her clothing, she followed the guards out of the room as they left the dungeon. They made their way slowly outside of the castle and towards the port where her ship would be found. As soon as the bright sunlight shone down on her golden eyes she found herself squinting horribly, unable to handle the sudden brightness after so many days spent in the dark dungeon room. She raised her arm to shield her eyes as they slowly adjusted to the light, making her way towards the ship with the guards. When she finally got there, she boarded the ship slowly, waving to the guards. "Thank you for your guidance. I will take it from here." she spoke, taking the controls of the small ship as she released the sails. The boat began to move slowly but surely, making its way in the general direction of Pratia. Umiko had no idea that would be where she ended up. After all, she did not care where she went at this point. She just wanted to leave the Kingdom of Ignia. When she finally arrived in Pratia, she wandered the lands offering her artisan services to the races found within the kingdom and continues to do so to this day, centuries later.
