| Personal Information Name: Solarion Terrian Abella Nickname Solar Age: 27 Gender: Female Race: Elin - Deer Appearance Information Height: 4'7" Weight: 34Kg Hair color: Blonde/white Eye Color: Green Looks Image: - Spoiler:
(Guess what, not my picture |D) Looks Description: - Spoiler:
To look at Solarion first you'd never think believe who she worshipped or what she believed in. Well to begin with she's a small and apparently frail little cutie. Standing in at less than five feet in height with a slight form, barely showing anything of what would be expected of a woman of her age. The only thing that could possibly hint to her true age would be the way she holds herself, a contemptuous hold to her frame, eyes holding naught but malice as she looks upon anyone else. And to think that forest green eyes such as her own were taken as a sign of some kind of greater good residing within her.
In order to hold such a regal and malicious tone with every fibre of her being she has to be well groomed at all times. Her hair is always immaculately done, usually in a large braid at the back with the rest free flowing or simply sitting in a waterfall over her back and shoulders, stretching all the way down to her waist. It is a light platinum blonde colouration, natural and she was pretty sure that it came from her parents but we won't get into that.
Other than this she has her antlers which are vestigial but that's understandable due to her being female. However rather than being made of keratin like any normal antlers should be, her own are made of extremely dense, tough wood, as far as anyone call tell something like mahogany and she polishes them to a high shine, something she can do that very few other Elin can. Of course she takes pride in this and simply laughs at the lesser Elin who can't do such a thing.
Lastly comes her attire which, once more, she takes pride in. Usually she can be found wearing long flowing robes as befits a mage although she has it daubed and marked with runic scripts of war, hate, rage and bloodshed. In addition to this she carries what she has fashioned as a charm of Bellum that she keeps wrapped around her left wrist and uses as a focus for some of her more powerful spells. (Later on might end up enchanted). This is her usual battle garb but it can change when she wishes to relax, leaving her in a pair of breeches and a loose tunic, both generally in whites, golds or silvers.
Personality Information Personality Description: - Spoiler:
When one is born into such a legacy as Solarion was, she was raised to be greater than anyone else and she took this in her stride. A mocking inflection pierces her voice and she finds it difficult to actually like anyone unless they are either very much like herself and can prove they are worth it or they are extremely submissive, bowing down to her whims and her commands.
Now usually one would expect some kind of inner core, a little squishy bit deep within the heart and conscious that would make her friendly with people and happy and cute and no, there is nothing like that with Solarion. Deep within she is conceited and cruel, not above using tricks and falsehoods to get what she wants, acting cutesy and sweet, buttering people up to get them to drop their guard, to assign a judgement to her character before she strikes out ruthlessly, tearing her foes open and scorching the remains.
She does not believe in mercy, nor does she believe in justice. A person should make their own way in life, crushing those who oppose their ideals and aiding those that follow. One is never naturally a leader, one makes their way there by virtue of strength, of character and those of lesser rapport are driven under, ground under the wheels of progress until they too can prove themselves worthy of being a leader. Justice is a sorry excuse for those too scared to progress to protect the people that make progress happen with their own blood, sweat and tears, beaten out of them by those stronger. Solarion does not like 'Justice'. Likes:
- Nature - Something that Solarion is unwilling to admit is that due to her lineage, her heritage she is very fond of nature, fond of the way it smells, the way it moves and sings with the wind. It creates an odd feeling deep within her core, within her very self and it makes her smile, one of the very few things to get a genuine smile out of her.
- Power - Due to how she was raised and the way she shaped herself, Solar thinks highly of those with true power, not strength of heart, but the ability to be ruthless, to enforce one's rule to summon forth the greatest of powers, of allies on just a whim.
- Belsarius - One of her only friends in life, a magnificent stag that she met barely after she was born, it is one of the only beings that she does not feel malice towards despite it being submissive to her commands, she loves Belsarius as much as any normal person would a family member and she will protect him, no matter what.
- Music - Somewhat of a cliche favourite of hers is music either that of nature or of people, she enjoys it and if out of sight might even find herself dancing or singing along with her melodic voice, being of Nature itself it's only natural that she happens to be good at this sort of thing.
Dislikes:
- People - People are known to hurt, they're difficult to understand, they bleed and they scream, discordant noises that just make Solarion angry. She hates people, she hates the way they try to make others happy, the way they give up so easily, she hates them with all that she is.
- Cold - Living in a temperate forest, bundled up in clothing Solarion spent almost all of her life warding away the cold, the frost, perhaps a reason she learned to wield fire magic? She detests being cold and the way it causes involuntary movements, she needs to be in control at all times.
- Rage - Now this does not mean the emotion of anger, anger can make one stronger, can make one feel more passionate. Rage is an ugly thing, it takes over, it makes the person feeling it do things they wouldn't normally do, it makes them lose control. Solar can't lose control she would never forgive herself if she done it again...
- Alcohol - Stemming from the same belief as both Rage and Cold, alcohol doesn't even taste any good and it causes problems. It is a poison, it destroys the body, it makes people different from who they are and it lowers inhibitions, lowers control over the body... Solarion will never drink and has never consumed alcohol before.

Combat Style:- Spoiler:
Now despite being a little itty bitty Elin and built like a series of sticks put together with string and prayers, Solarion wields greatswords as her main close combat weapon. Although she usually goes for lighter greatswords with thin blades in order for her to use them mainly one handed so that she can cast magic at the same time. With these weapons she focuses more on a counter attack style, dodging around attacks with her tiny form and punishing attacks with the weight and power of the weapon that she wields.
Due to her height however she generally has to get into very close combat to make the most out of her own body. This means that she is generally found lashing out with the pommel or guard of the weapon to target weak points, going for knees or crotches or stomachs, hitting weak areas to bring down larger foes before crushing them with the blade of the greatsword that she is wielding Mana Style: - Spoiler:
Now due to her elemental affinities, limited compared to a normal person but still strong enough that she has to diversify what she is doing with each element. Her only basic element is Fire, something that she has trained with since a young age. With Fire she focuses heavily on offensive attacks, anything that appears as though it could be a defense or something to aid Solarion or another will inevitably hold some kind offensive setting or function. Be it creating a shield that burns or explodes or a tripwire that not only alerts Solar but burns deep into the legs of a foe.
Her second element is Nature, something she was actually born with due to her unique heritage. With this she focuses on traps and modifying the terrain through the creation of deadly flowers or trees that dissolve or puncture through foes. Due to Nature not being a powerful offensive base she has actually modified her Nature element to allow her to create mutated plants with extremely dangerous properties such as acidic sap, poisonous spores or pollen or even the ability to create highly flammable gas.
With both of these magics she focuses her power through a magical locus, an object that allows her to manifest her power. This can be anything from a staff to a symbol emblem or even a sword as long as it has been properly prepared beforehand, daubed with the correct symbols of her belief and instilled with her intent. Special Abilities: Name: Elemental Dissonance Class: 1 (Weakness /and/ Ability) Type: Passive Description: Something is wrong with Solarion's ability to access magic itself, it is tempered, focused in a way rarely ever seen. Due to this she is entirely unable to learn any other basic element than Fire but due to the focusing of her fire based magic, she gains a passive boost to all Fire based magic techniques. Not only do they cost 15% less mana than normal but they have their class upgraded by one (for the same price as the proper class). Name: Harmony of Nature Class: Class 1 Type: Passive/Instance Description: Being born of the Earth itself, life given through nature Solarion has an innate extension to life and nature itself. Whenever she is within a forest and either sings or dances, she establishes a powerful connection with the very life force and is able to slowly regenerate mana as she sings or dances, regenerating 50 mana every one of her posts that she sings or dances allowing her to stall or keep fighting no matter what. Name: ELIN SMASH Class: Class 2 Type: Instance Description: Due to being trained in Swordsmanship especially with greatsword, Solarion has surprising upper body strength and is able to focus more of it when swinging her sword. When she swings a greatsword, only applies to swords of that class, she is able to double her strength for one strike every three posts as she throws her full body into the strike, hammering it home to cripple even the largest of foes. Weaknesses: Name: Forbidden Wishes Class: Class 1 Type: Passive Description: There is something within Solarion, or perhaps something without, that despises her ability to use magic, that wishes to stop her from being able to focus it quite so well. She has her two magic types but due to this lock that exists on her magical potential she can never learn another Advanced element than what her origin gives her, no matter what happens. Techniques: (I'll make and train for them later) Inventory: Name: Thinedge Zweihander (Shard) Type: Greatsword Specialties: Swordsmanship -75 Appearance: A Thinsteel Zweihander is a greatsword made for shorter people or those without the strength to wield the heavier weapons. The hilt of the sword is around a foot and a half in length with a rounded pommel for striking and gripping to better wield the weapon. The hilt is covered in leather wrappings to give good grip. The guard is made up of four arms, two on the same sides as the edges of the weapon and at the other two cardinal directions are smaller arms to help with blocking. The blade itself holds a light pink hue due to the metal it is made of and is very thin compared to most weapons of this type. The blade is only around two inches wide and four feet long, giving it good reach and tremendous cutting power for a weapon of this type. The weight is low compared to other greatswords but it makes up for this in speed. Class: Class 3 Special Abilities: The Thinedge Zweihander due to its construction and weight has the special ability that the user can add one quarter of their speed to the strength of the weapon using their raw speed in addition to their strength to make the weapon hit harder than would be normal for a greatsword. Origin: Solarion managed to get a Thinedge Zweihander due to her lessons as near enough the Queen of the village that she was living in. Due to this she was allowed to request teachers for whatever she wanted and one of the things that she wanted was to learn how to swordfight. Her tenacious nature and unwillingness to slow down or do anything really fancy with her fighting lead the teacher to be baffled as to what to actually teach her with. Rapiers were too difficult, the estoc snapped with the force that she exerted with her weapon and longswords just didn't hit hard enough for Solarion to find them worthwhile. So with that she was taught to wield great weapons but because she was both a small girl and an Elin which made her smaller yet most of the weapons she tried to handle were too large, too heavy for her at least she made it seem that way. So her teacher gave her the one weapon that he thought would work, Shard, one of the only Thinedge greatweapons the village had and she found it spectacular, it dances when she wanted it to, it sang as it was swung and she could tear people apart with it as though it was a weapon much larger than it actually was. With how well she used the weapon her teacher coudln't help but listen to her when she said that she wanted to keep it and so she did. Years later when she left the village Shard was one of the few things that she brought with her... Materials used: Agapite blade, leather wrappings around an agapite hilt. Agapite for the guards and a Shadow Irite pommel. Multiple different runic scripts have been written onto the sleeves naming multiple names for forest spirits and deities as well as mantras of protection, love and life. Class: Class 2 Special Abilities: The main ability of the Sleeves of Nature's Love is that they enhance the user's ability to focus and use magic, removing some of the wasted magic that is used when a spell is cast and causing less strain on the body as a whole. This translates as every one of the user's mana using techniques to cost 10% less mana when used, allowing the user to fight with smaller amounts of mana than normal due to the lowered cost. Stat Adjustments: N/A Materials Used: Enchanted gossamer and silk. Requirements: Any magical specialty - 100 Origin: The origin of this armour is that it was made to coat and cover the Child of the Forest as the mythos knew the person that was born of life and would grow up to use that life to bring peace to the village. They are daubed with runic scripts depicting the names of ancient dryads, nymphs and sprites, calling upon them to give protection and to keep the wearer safe. Class: Class 2 Special Abilities: The special ability of these robes is that every post the user is capable of increasing the power of one spell by one class. This lasts for that post only and can only affect the one spell per post making it powerful but limited, requiring the user to know exactly which spell would benefit most from the power upgrade. Availability: Very Rare Total Cost: 750 Past Information History: - Born of Life Itself:
Who was to know that labour was to come upon her so quickly? That within the middle of a forest, sunlight streaming through the trees that she was to give birth, that there was no way to move her quickly enough back to the village. She didn't have a choice it would seem and with the help of her husband she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. There was something wrong though, the child didn't breathe, the child didn't stir and her mother despaired. She didn't notice the flowers blooming around her as she cried, the trees singing a sweet lullaby to awaken a child that should never have been taken from this world.
Her mother placed Solarion down upon the ground, a beam of sweet sunshine dancing across her forehead, unfitting for the death that happened beneath that beautiful light. The girl moved. Life bled into the girl, sprung around her, the trees leaning down as though to look at the girl that sat beneath their boughs and they sang, the wind whistling with joy, with glee as another was brought into this world. The parents cried, not because their child was alive, no, but because of the myth that she had fulfilled, that she had now became a part of.
A legend that spanned many years of a child born of the forest, raised to be a Queen who would bring life, prosperity, kindness to the world, to the Elin race. Or that was what the village that Solarion belonged to thought, it was what they said and they rejoiced when Solarion joined their folds, when she was worshipped loved... Little did they know that their mythos was wrong.
- Wrought of Love; a Creature of Hate:
Solarion's life could be said to be better than good. She was treated like a princess, taught everything that she could, she got whatever she asked for. A life like her own, it was one that people envied but no one in her village did, they all believed that she deserved to be treated like this, that she deserved to have a better life than all of them because of what she was. This made her believe that she too was better, that she too deserved to be greater, gave her contempt for those that worshipped her. After all, she was better than them, was she not?
That was what she had been taught, that was what she now believed. A smirk adorned her lips when she was given offerings, her silly little underlings would do anything that she asked and she used this to her advantage, she took control, she shaped them and in doing so shaped herself to be something worse. She wasn't better than anyone else, she didn't deserve to be but when everyone was telling you something... Well it ended up being what you believed, no matter how dangerous that might happen to be.
- Another Life; a Glimmer of Hope:
To be free, it was a beautiful thing, to have nature itself, the forest dance and sing alongside you, it was the greatest thing of her pathetic little life. So sheltered apart from the forest that surrounded her, that was her true family, not those that gave her up for a myth, for a legend of what she could be. This was what she was, a being of the forest, of life, of passion! It was during one of her dances through the woods that she came upon the only true friend that she would ever have in life.
The stag was trapped within vines and brambles, it seemed to have given up with closed eyes and a rested head, only the rise and fall of its chest allowed Solarion to know that it was actually alive. She walked towards it and it looked up at her, beautiful eyes staring out from a majestic form. It looked almost sad, as though Solarion was going to hurt it or leave it behind but she spoke to the creature and moved towards it, keeping her hands out so it would know she wouldn't hurt it, or at least that was what she had been told to do.
The creature responded by watching her as she drew closer and unhooked the vines and brambles from its legs, cutting her palms a few times in the process but it didn't matter, the creature was free and it rose to its hooves, staring down at her with those beautiful eyes before it spoke to her. "The Queen aids the King and the King returns it in kind. Two creatures of the forest, born of nature and now I serve you, my Queen." His voice was deep, calming and he bowed with that, lowering his head before Solarion, only nine years old at this time.
"What do you mean, Queen and creature of the forest?" She asked quietly, staring down the beast before her that could've killed her if it wished to. He looked at her, cocking his head to the side in thought for a few moments before stepping over and nosing the top of her head, bringing her attention to something she... Hadn't noticed growing in yet. Antlers, the start of them at least, tiny little wooden nubs at the top of her skull. That shouldn't have been possible, neither of her parents nor their lineages were Deer... Why was she?
"You are different and although they worship you... They fear you, Child Queen. What do you do to something you fear?" With those he stood tall once more, standing before her and imparting his wisdom upon her.
"You..." She frowned and furrowed her eyebrows before looking into his eyes. "You remove it, you take away so that it doesn't scare you anymore." Her voice was calm even as she realised what it meant, that she was not going to be around for very long but the Stag spoke once more.
"You have time, years yet perhaps... Use them to learn everything you will need to survive... To fight and win." With that the Stag reached into the brambles with a hoof and drew out a symbol on the end of a chain, tossing it up to Solarion. She caught it and looked down at it. She didn't recognise it though.
When she looked up the Stag was gone but it was not the last time she would see him.
- Blood for Blood; Lessons in Sanguine:
It was after Solarion had returned home that she learned of what the symbol was. It was the mark of Bellum, one of the fallen, a beast of war and of fire. It made sense to Solar what that meant, why she had been given the symbol by the Stag. It was what she needed to survive. She had to become what the village would truly fear and with that, fire sparked at her fingertips.
Magic and blades, the objects of her lessons from here on out, learning how to manipulate flame, the light dancing between her fingertips to burn and wound opponents, to seal off areas and to make people flee from her as she drew upon her magic. Greatswords to crush people, cleave flesh, tear opponents limb from limb with glee, spreading and spraying blood with every movement. Nature came to her on instinct, the world bending to her whims as she sang or as she danced, staff and emblem held aloft to bring death to her foes and life to this world through such death.
In the background machinery turned, the village move to be ready, ready to do something... To fulfill the last part of the mythos and to bring peace to the land that they were part of...
- Eyes of Steel; a Seat Before the King:
The forest at night was not the same as it was during the day, there was no light, no playful song that whispered through the branches to excite and to spark. At night it was a dirge, plaintive wailing that creased her brow, shivers running under her nightclothes as she went out to speak to the majestic beast that sat in shadows, antlers glittering with the moonlight.
They sat within a clearing now, moonlight dripping like liquid from high above, illuminating at random, scouring the ground to reveal what was hidden. The Stag was revealed like this, his eyes looking at his counterpart, the one that he loved and wished to care for, as best as he could. The Queen looked back, a nervous expression on her face as she scanned around the forest before sighing and looking at the Stag. "What is your name?"
Her voice was quiet, barely extending through the shadows, she was scared, the Stag knew and it sparked some kind of instinct within him but he suppressed it for now. "King Belsarius, the Stag of War." She nodded at that before taking a deep breath and speaking back to him, a little more confidently this time.
"I am Solarion Abella, Child of the Forest and Scion of Mother Earth." The Stag nodded in kind and then sighed. He knew what was happening, it was inevitable and he was scared for the life of his love, not that she would ever know about it or reciprocate such feelings but that was his fault, not her own. He was a guardian and he would protect her, care for her, love her... He just needed to save her.
"You know what is happening, Child Queen, you know the end that comes for you. The village is ready to give your life back to the forest, back to the harvest so that peace will reign. They will kill you for the sake of what ancient texts tell them, you know this and have anticipated it. You are strong now child but not strong enough for this, we must leave and I will protect you, I promise." Solarion was inclined to believe him, he was the only one that spoke the truth... This wasn't the second time she had seen him or spoken to him and she cared for this majestic creature. The Forest Queen nodded...
- Screams of Despair; A Legend Usurped:
The village was not pleased, everything was ready and yet the child had vanished, the guards killed and her room deserted... Everything had went wrong and thus the witch hunt began. Weapons drawn, armour worn they charged into the forest to bring back what they needed to make the world well.
Through the forest Solarion was brought, upon the back of a Stag, the back of a King. Belsarius wanted to save her so she would trust him, her cloak flapping behind her as she cuddled into his neck, holding on as tight as she could while being hunted, being chased and she knew it wouldn't end, she knew that her life would never be the same... Family: Inconsequential Friends: Belsarius, the Stag Roleplay Sample
"It's been a while since we've had time like this..." A voice spoke out into the darkness, all encompassing. The voice was soft, sweet, it didn't hold any of its usual inflections because there was only one person that was around to hear the voice. Well he wasn't really a person, he could talk, he had a personality but he was never really a person. The warmth beside her shifted as she said it, the fur under her head flicking as though what she was lying on shuddered. "Indeed it has been." This other person, their voice could be described as cold, perhaps regal but Solarion knew otherwise, she knew that he cared, that his voice was rarely emotion because he spoke with his body and that made her happy, a smile sat comfortably on her lips as she lay there against him; Belsarius, the King to her Queen. "The moonlight is soothing, although I didn't think it would be so for you, my Queen, after all it was a night like this that I told you of what would happen, I drove the point home." A soft 'hmm' was all that met his statement for a few moments. "You're right, but it was also the night that I learned of how much you cared, the fact that no matter what you would protect me, throw yourself in front of attacks, all just to save me." She reached over and ran her hand over his side, enjoying the feeling of his silky fur under her fingertips. Her hand moved upwards to his neck, digging in to scratch and stroke at the skin, showing her affection for the beast as best as she could. "That is true enough." Was all he said in return, his own recollection of that night had been different. She was beautiful, she still was, but it was the first time he had seen her in all of her glory. Her antlers had sprouted, visible now and her body was magnificent, more majestic than he was but once more he was hampered, he was held back because he could not love her, because she could not love him, not properly. A pet, a slave, an underling, that was all he was to her and yet he wanted to be her King, he wanted to be hers and he wanted her to be his. It caused a pain in his chest and he shuffled slightly to get more comfortable. Feeling the movements Solarion sat up and turned around to look at her best friend, reaching over to stroke the top of his head and smiling softly. He was a magnificent animal and he had been with her for a long time now, he was her friend, her family... The only person that cared and the only person that made her happy. People only wanted to hurt her, to hunt her, apart from Belsarius, he didn't want to do any of that... She sniffled quietly as she thought over it and wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face in his fur and starting to cry silently. The Stag had dealt with this before and he knew to leave her, pretending she wasn't crying until she was better, until it wasn't and he had to hold her in his hooves, keeping her company until it passed. She was a conflicted individual but she was beautiful and she would only grow to be more so... As long as he could protect her and keep her alive... | |
